The Prism Halls 1.1 Update
The Prism Halls » Devlog
Hello! As the Godot Game Jam #81 draws to a close, a new update for the game is required. I had a ton of fun with the game jam and learned so much. The few regrets I have are regarding not leaving enough time for audio work and settings, and today that is being remedied.
This update is a polish update for the project, as I took a few extra days after submission to do all those things I didn’t have time for.
Additions
- Music and sound effects have been added
- A lighting pass to soften shadows has been applied
- Icons have been added to easier differentiate between the colors of the puzzle mechanics
- A settings menu has been added containing the following settings:
- Music volume
- Effects volume
- Brightness: Normal, or Bright (Normal by default)
- A proper outro has been added upon completing the game
Fixes
- Fullscreen is now enabled, and the game will resize its UI to fit the screen
- The fog density in the level has been lowered to make it easier to see
- A bug where the camera would reset when the player moved the mouse too fast has been fixed
- UI elements have been updated to use correctly scaled textures
